Blog Og Magog about nothing

It's not the end of the world. I am not much of a blogger and it shows. The first thing you've got to ask yourself, if you read this, is, what for? I'll tell you there is absolutely no reason to read this blog unless you like to delve into useless facts and information about nothing. What's a boring person to do. I suppose I could try to spruce this up a bit by adding in some action or even some adventure, but unfortunately for you I haven't the words to describe the mundane in that way. I could make it up and tell you about secret missions and terrible occurrences but then there would be no facts or truth. I am a firm believer in delivering truth and facts no matter how limited they might be or how mind numbingly boring they are.

As for the nothing, I do believe you've been reading it. If you've managed to make it this far with out moving on to some other person's more exciting and more interesting blog then your efforts are to be applauded. I don't have a medal or any other prize to give you. If you enjoy torturing yourself in this way then come back, but your family better not come to me about the drooling coma you'll be in after reading nothing for hours on end. I will not and can not be held accountable! If you'd like to spend all of your free time sucking out all the useful information you have in your pretty brain and stuffing it full of empty nothing, then be my guest.

I will try to update this nothing blog soon. Keep in mind that I'm not a very good blogger, so my promise might be empty. Until the next time you want to undergo a bit of torture. so long and keep in touch.

why do people like coffee?

being an every-generation-mormon, i didn't know what coffee tasted like. i had seen it, and knew that it was dark, and hot and people thought it tasted good. well the only thing i could think of that fit all of these descriptions in my opinion led me to conclude it must taste like beef broth. The color is black (brown) and it smelled bitter when i'd walked passed the coffee aisles at the grocery store. it only made sense to my young head that it must taste beefy. come to find out now that I'm older and more informed as to the purpose of coffee that the flavor isn't really all that good and the only reason people drink it is to wake up in the morning. I still don't understand why people drink coffee?

hind sight is 20/20

when i was about eight or nine, i was playing outside one day with my brother and sisters. One thing we liked to do was to jump off the roof. I decided that it would be fun to jump off the roof at this particular time and so I did and landed in a tumble on the ground. precisely at the moment I stood up and turned around a stick hit me in the eye. my brother had thrown it in my general direction, not intending to hit me there, but it had STRUCK me in the eye. i instinctively put my hand over my eye and attempted to shake off the pain. I removed my hand from my eye and tried to open it. Every one knows that after you get something in your eye it's hard to make yourself open it. I succeeded in opening it only to find out that I could see nothing, everything was just black. it was the weirdest feeling to not see like that. after spending a week at the hospital getting my the blood cleansed out of my eye through an IV i had in my arm, i was required to wear a patch for a while. when it was removed i could see OK again. about a year later, my sight was tested, (after I had complained about moments when everything would get a little fuzzy). i was prescribed some glasses. my vision wasn't horrible, just wasn't good. so the doctor and my mom sent me to the rack to pick out some frames. i didn't realize that i was just choosing style, i had understood that i was choosing glasses that i could see best out of, i didn't realize they would insert my prescribed lenses later. Now I look back and think a bout the ridiculous frames I chose and laugh. I must have look rather nerdy in those thick ugly glasses.
